Animals, directions, feelings, superheroes ... just some of the inspiration celebrities have drawn on when naming their children. Here are some of the more interesting and unusual names celebrity parents have chosen for their little ones.
Elsie Otter is the name of (pictured) actress Zooey Deschanel's daughter, while Nicole Richie and Joel Madden called their son Sparrow James Midnight. North West and Saint West are the names Kim Kardashian and Kanye West gave to their little girl and boy respectively. Actors Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds called their daughter James, and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis named their little girl Wyatt. Robert Downey Jr named his son Exton and his daughter Avri. Alicia Silverstone named her son Bear Blu, Kate Winslet and Ned Rocknroll called their son Bear Blaze and Beyonce and Jay-Z named their firstborn girl Blue Ivy. Liv Tyler and Dave Gardner called their baby girl Sailor, whileJason Lee named his son Pilot Inspektor. Nicolas Cage was inspired by Superman’s Krypton name and called his boy Kal-El. Rapper Lil Kim gave her daughter the name Royal Reign. Mark Ruffalo's son is called Keen and singer Macy Grey's daughter is Happy. Toni Braxton's two sons are called Denim and Diezel.
