Pear & plum puree
When babies first start on solid food, they can become slightly constipated. Pureed pear and stone fruit can be useful for getting the gut moving again. Fruit is packed with vitamin C and a great food to keep baby well over the winter.
Ingredients
1 pear (peeled and thinly sliced)
2 plums (peeled and thinly sliced)
Method
1. Place fruit in a steamer and cook until soft.
2. Place in a blender or use a hand whisk to make into a smooth puree.
4. You can add a small amount of baby cereal if you want to thicken the puree.
5. Serve when cooled and/or place some in ice cube trays and freeze for another day.
