Make some fun Oreo snowmen!
In this season of giving, what better treat to give than these tasty Oreo snowman cookies that everyone has fun making… and eating!
What you will need:
🎄 Skewers
🎄 m&m’s
Instructions:
Start things off by melting your white chocolate in 10 second intervals in the microwave and mixing so that it doesn’t burn. Then put some aside in another small bowl to make black for decorating.
Dip the top layer of the oreo cookie into the white chocolate mix and place it on some baking paper, then take a skewer and push down in the centre of an orange m&m until it breaks in half and put one of the halves in the middle of the cookie to make the nose. Place the cookies on a tray and allow to cool in the fridge until chocolate has hardened.
Once the white chocolate has cooled, take a skewer and the black chocolate and decorate your snowman’s face onto the cookie.
Then take some more skewers and dip the ends of them in white chocolate before inserting them in between the layers of the oreo cookie and leaving to set again. Then you are complete and left with some yummy Christmas treats!
How to colour the chocolate to black:
Mix in equal parts red, blue, and yellow food colouring until it reaches a colour you are satisfied with. If the chocolate becomes solidified, add a little bit of coconut oil at a time until it becomes smooth again. If the coconut oil isn’t melting into the chocolate on its own then put it into the microwave for 10 seconds and stir again.
Another option is to use dark chocolate if you don’t like the idea of colouring white chocolate, or are having trouble with it.
