Colostrum is traditionally collected in single-use plastic syringes which have the potential to leach harmful chemicals and microplastics. Our collector is made with 100% medical grade silicone. You can use it to collect hand-expressed colostrum, freeze it and then feed it directly to your baby from the same collector. It can be reused over and over again for many different purposes, or can be regifted to another mama.

I liked the bigger size as I had plenty to express, however having a variety of size would have been good for the first couple of days as we wasted a bit while his tummy was so small.Would have been good to have some tags but I see that they have since started doing that which is awesome.Really easy to collect milk and feed, and handy little pack and wipe was nice too. Can see other uses for it later down the track too.All in all a great product. Would recommend!

29/06/2021 -The Haakaa Colostrum Collector is SUCH a fantastic product! I'd highly recommend it to all mummas. It's so easy to use for both collecting colostrum and feeding baby. Taking our stash to hospital was a sanity saver for me! Our bubba was born with a tongue tie and struggled to latch the first few days. I relied on my stash of colostrum to ensure he was fed and several midwives also commented on what a great product it was. Also great for later storing frozen breastmilk!
