What a difference this product has made – a combination of early teething and the dreaded four month sleep regression turned our through-the-night sleeper into a grumpy infant insomniac. But, all hope was not lost. Enter – the VTech Portable Soother! Recently, we’d found the hardest thing was getting little man to fall asleep, but this product has cut that time down significantly. Its lullaby function is our favourite, with high quality melodies that can safely send even mum and dad off to dream land! I want to emphasise quality here as I’ve heard some seriously poor quality sounds on similar products, but the VTech’s music is superb. Ours isn’t personally a fan of white noise, but for babies who are, this product’s sounds are all of a similar high quality to the lullabies. I like that the Portable Soother is rechargeable as this saves on batteries, but it would be nice if it included a power plug rather than just the very short USB micro cable. The Monkey’s tail is a cute and convenient touch – the perfect attachment to hang the soother over your nursery’s doorknob (or anything, really!).

19/03/2018 -Wow! What an amazing product! At first I was sceptical that the Vtech portable soother would actually work with my very stubborn 5 month old. When we are out and about he would usually only nap for 30 minutes at best in his pram. But when I used the portable soother he napped for over an hour! This product is extremely user friendly. I had no troubles figuring out how to use it. I love that there are multiple different sounds and lullabies as not every sound suits every baby. It is compact enough to take on the go without being too bulky. The rechargeable battery is convenient as I can just plug it in at night and know it'll be ready to go as I head out the door. I absolutely love the Vtech Safe & Sound Portable Soother and highly recommend it as it makes life that much easier!!!

16/03/2018 -This has been an absolute god-send for our son! Not only has it helped him to link his sleep cycles but it has also helped to drown out his noisey big brother! I personally often find "white noise" to be an irritating sound but this machine has enough options that there was one to keep us all happy! I even managed to sleep with it in my room and found that I went into a deeper sleep as I wasn't able to hear my son's every move. It is also super handy to have a nightlight attached especially when hunting down rouge dummies through the night!
