Little Golden Books party
Mum-of-two, teacher and blogger, Charlene Morunga, collected Little Golden Books from second hand stores and family and friends to create this vintage themed party for her Little One Year Old! Charlene bought a wooden 'M' and decorated it with cut-out images from LIttle Golden Books favourite, 'The Poky Little Puppy'.
These windmills are super cute and a perfect little keepsake to give to guests. Charlene used doweling, pages from Golden Books, and pins (tacks).
The onesie was a last minute decision, Charlene says. She grabbed a white onesie and some Sharpies and created her boy's own cute Little Golden Book '#1' outfit for him!
Using the same book covers she used as cupcake toppers, Charlene made labels for the white lolly bags that were filled with gummy worms (or Bookworms, if you like!)
Charlene printed out these little book covers from AestheticNest and made cupcake toppers.
Charlene bought this Indulgent Chocolate Cake, added a gold ribbon, her own DIY cake bunting and a #1 candle.
