Chicken, sweetcorn and pumpkin with mash recipe
Introducing this healthy chicken, sweetcorn, and pumpkin with Mash recipe - a perfect addition to your little one's mealtime! This nutritious baby food combines tender chicken, sweetcorn, and flavorful pumpkin, all gently pureed to create a smooth and creamy texture. Ingredients
1 potato, peeled and diced
½ zucchini, diced
1x 120g pouch Wattie’s ForBaby
Chicken Pumpkin Sweetcorn & Rice
Finely grated cheese for serving
Method
1. Cook potato in a saucepan of boiling water for 8 minutes. Add zucchini and cook for a further 3-4 minutes until tender. Drain, reserving cooking water.
2. Puree potatoes and zucchini using a handheld blender or food processor. Add a little milk or cooking water, if required, to achieve desired consistency.
3. Pour Wattie’s pouch into an ovenproof dish and top with mashed potato and zucchini. Sprinkle with cheese and cook at 180°C for 8-10 minutes until heated through. Check temperature before serving.
4. Use a portion to feed baby, then refrigerate remainder for another meal, or freeze for later use.
Tip: Try other vegetables like broccoli, pumpkin, parsnip or sweet potato.
