Day Walks
There are a number of day walks around the area ranging from 30 minutes up to full day walks. Walks and hikes brochure available from the Taupō i-SITE Visitor Centre.

Stroll through the scenic gardens of Tongariro Domain, order some delicious takeout from the numerous cafes along Tongariro Street, and relax with a picnic on the lush lawn of Tongariro Domain right beside the playground. And with Lake Taupo just a short distance away, immerse yourself in an afternoon full of pure enjoyment.
